Nuwan Thotawatta’s Sinhala book series Dangkara Nuto has been translated into English under the title Nuto the Curious. Nuto and the Together We make it Happen, is based on the Sinhala book Nuto saha Bimmal Soup. The series presents the curious questions that arise in the minds of children in a simple and engaging way, using a scientific perspective while staying grounded in a child’s world. The book is further enhanced with beautiful and attractive illustrations. Nuvan Thotawatta, the author, is a doctor by profession and a well-known children’s writer. To date, he has written numerous books for children and is also a lyricist for children’s songs. Additionally, his creative works have been nominated for awards.
